The 2014 Dodge Journey AVP, SE and SXT are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard, and you can only get front-wheel drive with this engine. Fuel economy ratings are 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined.

Optional on the SXT and standard on the Limited and R/T is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 283 hp and 260 lb-ft and is matched to a six-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. Fuel economy stands at 17/25/19 with front-wheel drive and 16/24/19 with all-wheel drive.

The interior of 2014 Journey comes in a smooth, modern, swoopy look and simple layout, with large dials and knobs and an LCD touchscreen framed by high-quality materials. Safety
Every 2014 Dodge Journey comes standard with antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, active front head restraints, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and a driver knee airbag. Integrated second-row child booster seats and rear parking sensors are optional on every Journey. A rearview camera is available as an option on the SXT, Limited and R/T.
