Powertrains
The MKT is offered two engine types. The front-wheel drive 2014 Lincoln MKT is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 303 horsepower. All-wheel drive models come with a twin-turbocharged (EcoBoost), 3.5-liter V6 that produces 365 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. According to the EPA, the MKT achieves 17/25 mpg city/highway with the base engine, while turbocharged AWD models achieve 16/23 mpg.

Interior
The 2014 Lincoln MKT interior comes in a classy design, quiet interior, high-quality materials and plenty of sound insulation to ensure a tranquil ride on those long road trips. The MKT seats up to seven people in three rows, though an optional second-row center console reduces seating capacity to six. Leather upholstery and power-adjustable heated and cooled front seats are standard.

The 2014 Lincoln MKT offers 17.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 39.6 cubic feet with the third row folded and a maximum of 75.9 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.

Safety
The 2014 Lincoln MKT comes standard with standard front, side,and curtain airbags; stability and traction control; anti-lock brakes; a rearview camera; a blind-spot alert system; and adaptive headlamps. Also on the list is an inflatable rear belt system that helps spread impact force across a wider area.

In addition include Active Park Assist, which uses cameras and sensors and electric power steering to steer the vehicle into tight parallel parking spots. Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) are all available.
